Refunds and Returns
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Custom orders are exempt from being returned due to being made to size and your choice of design. Please contact me if there is a problem with your custom order.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company/bank as it may take some time before your refund is officially processed.

To return your product, please contact me for details.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Care of your Opals
Opals have a reputation for being fragile, but they are a lot more resilient than some people think. Solid Australian opals are stable and safe to wear in water, they do not change appearance or go cloudy.
However, please treat your jewellery with care and consideration, they are not made to be worn when doing chores or any manual labour work. Opals can be damaged by knocks and blows and prongs can be bent out of alignment if caught on something.
I so often see people cooking with their rings on. Just don’t! Not only are settings a place that can harbour bacteria (yuk!!), but they can also get food residue in there which will make them look dull and they could also potentially get scratched.
Doublet opals are more delicate than solid opals and more susceptible to damage from knocks due to the thinner layer of opal, they also should not be routinely submerged in water as it could cause the adhesive to breakdown. If you look after your jewellery and treat it with care it will last for many years.
Every so often give your opal a clean with a soft damp cloth or a soft toothbrush and water to bring back its shine.
